This 650+ Meg library is divided into 4 distinct categories:
MELODIC BEDS (Rhythmic & Non-Rhythmic) - Almost mini atmospheric soundtracks in themselves. These are all musical in as much as they are pitched and divided into rhythmic and non-rhythmic collections. Certainly impressive enough to be used as they are but also ideal to use with additional music if desired.
EFFECT BEDS - Similar to the Melodic Beds but without any pitch. These atmospheres can therefore be used in isolation or in conjunction with other sounds or music without any pitch conflicts.
EFFECT SHOTS - Synthetic spot effects especially geared towards Sci-Fi applications such as SFX for technology, conflict, futuristic transportation, robotics and much more!
MUSIC EFFECTS - Musical spot effects ideal for punctuating scenes and combining with beds to customise them exactly to your scene.

The files are presented as Apple Loops in Aiff format - although they are all one-shot sounds rather than loops. This library can be used in almost any software where it might be useful - such as iMovie, Final Cut Pro, etc. - and the additional functionality of the Apple Loops accessed in any software that supports this such as Soundtrack, GarageBand, Logic Pro and Express.
