This CD should arm you with the material that has been borne out of some serious experimentation and is in every way nothing other than unique." As they say the artwork doesn't include any BPMs, keys or much description - but that is what it is all about.

Assorted drum loops. Distorted, filtered and phat. Watch them bass bins flap.
Pete's Lo-Fi Drum Loops and Chops
Drums and drum effects utilising 8 and 4 bit lo-fi cruch technology. Sizeable and hard.
Funky Crunch Gate Corner
Created using many sound sources. Sample, fly in and enjoy - they're funky. Try triggering them in different parts of the bar. Also includes many 4 and 8 bit loops. Warning - some of the sounds are REALLY hard.
Synth Riffs/Sounds
Assortment of usable synth lines, sounds and sequences. Once again, created using a cross section of old analogue boxes, some crunchy filters and 4/8 bit processing. Sample the bits you like, shut your eyes and fly 'em in.

More info on the Producer
terminalhead are Pete Marett and Lee Groves who has been involved in the production of many of AMG's most successful CDs over the years but this is the first he has produced himself. This CD is incredibly inspiring and current. You won't find any more current library for modern dance music. terminalhead's debut LP will be released in late 98 on Push Records.

Format Information
GENERAL - Akai S1000 CD-ROMs work with not only the S1000 and S1100 but many other hard and software samplers that support the format too such as the EXS24, Reason and many hardware samplers. If you're not sure check if your sampler supports S1000 format AND exactly how well, it varies and a native format is always preferable if available.
PRODUCT SPECIFIC - This CD-ROM features all the drum and performance loops sliced up in programs that you can load and either play each slice as it is mapped across the keyboard or use the supplied MIDI Files to re-create the original loop and edit as you wish. This is an extremely powerful system allowing you quick and easy loop editing. Non-performance samples and full versions of the loops are also included in banks for quick auditioning too if you prefer to work this way.
