In his words 'hard drum loops with some dubs, but mostly the meat.'
More info on the Producer
Keith started off at Sugarhill Records performing of records by Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel, later going on to work with Seal, The Cure, Annie Lennox, NIN, ABC, 808 State, Bomb The Bass, and many many more.
He has his own record label, Blanc Records, and is a member of >Tackhead<. Keith's first CD was very successful, this one is on a different planet.
His subsequent Fresh Killed Meat CDs, Prime Funk and Drum&Bass Carnage, continue to build his reputation as one of the finest producers of drum loops around. Prime Funk has already picked up another 5 star review from Sound On Sound - a unique hat-trick.
"...top value for money...everything you need to get an authentic hip-hop
and 'old skool' feel to your work...the science of scratching records requires the same kind of adroitness as playing lead guitar, and these discs have the equivalent of Jimi Hendrix at the deck, scratching tones, beats and top lines. The results are all incredibly usable and authentic...
Out There contains an amazing array of soundscapes which, in truth, have more to do with Hollywood movie underscores than retro dance music, but are nonetheless superb...What this trilogy doesn't offer is the same old hip hop beats that have been circulating the globe for the past couple of decades. What it does
offer is a blueprint for the future of modern backbeat." Sound On Sound
"...many will be getting "Hip Hop Hard" phast. 4/5" - Remix USA
WAV files are the simpliest and most widely compatible sound files for use with computers and some hardware samplers. If you can't find a 'cleverer' format you can utilise then this might be the best option. You should find any loop content is edited to loop smoothly too which will save you a lot of time versus sampling yourself from audio CDs!
